they could have at least started the email with like congratulations or smtg.....i was really setting myself up for disapointment..but i guess....today is my day

car chase in progress

hmm...ever saw an accident that was soo gonna happen? well..for me usually i only see the after effects of an accident. usually more often that not, only scenes of damaged cars or in the rare occasion, bodies lying on the road (sometimes with blood)

well..i saw a police car chase on Friday night. saw this car speeding past me doing at least 140km/h+++ as if i was a super slow car. Well...about more than a minute later the police came flying past too (guess the car was trying to outrun the cops)

Anyway, long short short, later i saw the police car slowing down. i thot he lost the speeding car cuz there were the exits on the highway. but then later when i drove past the speeding car had crashed...!! hahaa. stupid guy must hav gone too fast and wanting to take the exit at a high speed

so ppl out there...lesson is, dont speed and if the police catches you speeding, stop not try to outrun the cop...hahahahaa *rolls eyes**

seriously, was a lil shaken as i havnt really seen a police chase/accident happening before. so was the highlight of my day :P

i was getting better. apprently not. im still stuck with the block nose..

was just wondering why why why this year am i getting sick so easily. as far as i can remember, i didnt get sick at all last year, mayb once the previous year? its as much as i have no stock of medicine in my house, the strepsils losenges that i found were from 2004...

and i think this is like that 3rd time im down this year. not that im straining myself more, cuz definately last year was hectic.

the runny nose, the fever, the blocked throat, the croacking noise i make, the aching body, the developing cough....sounds pretty much like a full on cold to me.

but at first all i thot is was a mere allergy.

anyway, im feeling much better already after having slept before 12 midnight 2 days in a row. thank goodness this week is pretty cruisey for me too...

on a side note, I LOST MY IPOD COVERRRRRR.. booooooooooohooooo
i think i left it after dance practice in MR3, but when i went back to check on monday it wasnt there anymore....so now...my ipod is 'naked' and it needs some clothes desperately.....
ahhhh...the scratches its gonna gett.......need a new cover soon...but man...those ipod accesories are priceyy!!!

been ages since i last wrote something here. been just way too busy over the holidays to be bothered to write something. dun really know what to write about tho its quite ironic since so many things have been happening over the past 2 weeks or so.

so mayb i'm just attributing it to my writer's block. well....or mayb the brain is just consumed in having so much fun this past weeks :P

anyway, talking about writers, jax got some poem he wrote on my friendster into some final competition!! cool....at least i have a writer in my midst. haha. well...could tell anyway, by reading his blog, heaps of discriptive things there!!

anyway, uni has restarted already, 1st day back in uni and im already daunted by what lies ahead of me. shouldnt be complaining really since i have only 2 papers this trimester. supposed to be cruisey but i guess the workload's gonna be quite crazy anyhow.

my tutoring job is gonna start week 3 so im gonna gear up to that, another 2 weeks of self-declared holiday for me (sort of anyway). kinda of getting worried abt my tutoring in some way esp if i have brainey kids in my class....then they would ask questions which i dun have answers for and i'll just look like a stupid tutor...:S

so back to my initial topic...
HOLIDAYS
pretty much started the moment i finished MOFI exam, caught up with some ICFers, had my DJG over for hangout and sleepover at my place - mostly had fun trashing my place, DDR-ing, cooking stuff in the oven that didnt work, having gals chat till wee hrs of the morning and then getting up some 3 hrs later to start the day again...i also met up with tammi and alex b4 going to melb as i havnt seen alex in agessssss

spent my time in melb just pretty much hanging out with jax, watching a whole heap of movies (remind me to tell the half pipe story one day) and playing xbox. did quite a bit of window shopping too althou it stayed pretty much as WINDOW shopping. think i have wayy too much stuffs anyway... ate out quite a bit too. well..i guess whatever happens between us, thanks so much for always being there for me =))

went to conference straight after i came back from melb. had a mini road trip with jas, shan and jer on the way there/ back. conference was pretty good, better than i expected too =)) kinda glad i finally made it to conference after 3 yrs. tho i reakon prob i wun be going to another one unless its in welly or somewhere close. managed to see a bit more of akl too. i guess after all the deliberation and wrestlin of not wanting to go to conference, i reakon i made a pretty good choice to go. i kinda din really wanna leave after the 3 days i was there, but time really wasnt on my side. tho was short, learnt quite and reinforced quite a few things, and stuff that actually made me think more abt Him. sometimes i guess i'm just really slack and knwing that i dont deserve some things make me a bit lukewarm towards Him. i guess just knwing that you arent the only one out there and there's always the one you can turn to reminded me of His grace. after being the anti-social me for a while, i met some really cool ppl in conference too and hopefully will get to see them again in slc or smtg.
anyway, akl trip..got to mission bay and went to howick (aka the expeensive asian suburb of akl). was pretty nice...make that better than town in terms of shopping and stuff. at least now i knw where to go next time. had koren meal there too yummmm...apart from that, got to knw jas, shan and jer better too...oh, south island road trip yah guyss....

oh, results are out too and im pretty proud of myself :D:D hahahaha... din expect such results particularly with my last minute studying till the wee hrs of the morning and bad exams, but i guess just thank God that He always sees me thru all my exams too. ive also been doing a bit of thinking particularly on what i wanna do next year with my studies and all that, and i've kinda decided that i should be going for hounours. i guess i should think longer term instead of just opting the easy way out. its so easy to just take the easy way particularly after living here for 4 years now, where everything's pretty slack. i guess my dillemma now is pretty much where i wanna do my honours. im considering melb uni (since ive wanted to go there for uni initially anyway). the only thing abt that is that i'm not too sure on the requirements as its pretty different than here and whether its easy to get in as melb uni is HaRd OuT!!. well, i suppose my other 2 options will obviously be vic, and mayb perhaps auckland. many other factors to consider as well, but i'm gonna take it as it comes.

summer is drawing near too and i've still yet to decide what im gonna do with myself over summer. sometimes im wondering why am i still in uni this trimester when i actually could be happily graduated and looking for work or taking an extended holiday. hmm...

just seems like its gonna be one busy trimester which would just pass in a flash...
