I think sometimes as humans we tend to rely on our own strengths, our own understanding. As Christians too sometimes we forget that God knows what is best for us and we then want and follow our own desires..

God always has an alarmingly good sense of humour to remind me that He is in control. And also a brilliant way everytime to remind me that its not about what I want, but how it all falls into that huge-as blue print of His.

I guess that going about in day, it is not wrong to pray for things that you want, but also learning to trust that even if your prayers arent answered, God knows the best for ya and the best outcome will come out. Always.

at work

ok. i really shouldnt be blogging now. seems like im just getting more n more slack and should be doing some work!!

gosh today was sunny and perfect beach weather.. too bad i didnt knw earlier cuz it was all windy at home earlier. as usual my place gets more wind than every other part in wellington or so i think

anyway, was shopping today with alex and tammi after yum cha today. oh majestic's yum cha is yumm....finally i get to try it!!! hahaha...after months that the new place is opened and everyone talking abt it. the durian pastry things were good. funny how i liked it as i dun really like durian. too bad i could taste durian in my mouth for the rest of the afternoon.

found a wallet on cuba st today. thanks to my look-at-the-floor-while-walking-while-being-ignorant me. so yea...saw this flash wallet on the street. hehe. there were heaps of cash inside and there was a gold credit card too. poor lady must be freaking out when she knew it was missing!! i even freak out myself when i misplace my wallet, or left it in the car without knowing or somethign stupid. oh well. tried to look for a phone number or smtg but couldnt find anything. so us nice gals decided to go to the police station to hand it in instead. so more walking exercise to the police station. guess thats my nice deed for the day *beams*
anyway, why this story?? lesson of the day: put at least some contact details in your wallet esp ur phone number. just in case you lose it and your nice angel who finds it would want to call you up to tell u that they found it and ur dear wallet is still safe.

alrighty...back to work!!!

'looging' my holidays away

ok. pre christmas sales have gotta stop. either that or dont let me know and take me far far far away from all the shops. argh....i reakon some have pretty good sales, and i know i should save my money for my huge as shopping trip in malaysia...but its soo tempting to buy things PLUS i have so much free time to roam everywhere and take my leisure time to buy stuff

anyway, been spending the last two weeks pretty much in front of my computer or in front of the telly. my free dvd service right to my post box lets me have the right amount of exercise walking up to my letter box and into my living room to glue my eyes to the tv. and then there's alwyas tv shows and dr phil and re-runs of old tv shows in the afternoons too

ok. need to start making some lists of stuff i need to do b4 i leave. stuff that i need to do once im in malaysia too. or else i shall forget. oh prob stuff to bring back too

oh...finally got my other result today. hmm...i think im pretty gutted abt it. but then again i suppose its not too bad...but but but....sighssssssss [this is when im 'mengada-ing']

oh well...2.5 jolly weeks more till my trip!

ramblings

i seem to be writing more 'draft' posts than anything else lately. prob this is why i havnt posted anything in ages. i write something, then decide it might not be appropriate to publish for the whole world to see or write something halfway and then decide i'll finish it up later...along those lines. so i end up with more draft posts....

anyway latest update, got rejected again....for audit nz this time. cant believe i got rejected yet again tho the chances of getting it were quite high. oh well. guess i just have to believe that there's a better plan for me out there :P

which coincidentally might be to have an awesome long holiday in malaysia :D:D so im going in dec coming back in jan which is gonna be great. wanna get a whole lot of stuff in msia too so yay! ohhh..shopping and food. i want asam laksa, hot n spicy kfc chicken, chicken rice and all those.... yummm

anyway, in the mean time, need to find more stuff to do b4 i leave, need to meet up with people here and all those before i leave. also, need to start making an asia shopping list and also need to make a list of people to meet when im in asia too :D

ive got 2 interviews - one today and the other tomorrow. one for my studies next year, one for summer job.

gotta do well, or else i'll have nothing to do this summer, or next year. so i guess these 2 days are pretty important for me..
