summer

well..i finally sorta figured out what i wanna do in summer. be definately be back in mid dec - mid jan, just that might stay a bit longer or smtg.

so yeah. kinda told the ird ppl..holiday or no work...so its no work...although i passed the interview, role play, and psycometric testing. errr..a bit of a waste of my time, but at least now im decided. guess im just being me, taking the long road again.

so yeah. just planning to come back in jan to look for a job, or mayb even go back to my exisiting job, if they let me to... can't believe theres so many summer jobs out there. guess i just wasnt looking last summer or before!! but there's heaps that i can do...good ones too...cant believe i only start getting onto it this year. as usual...way to slow for my own good.

this weekend and next week is gonna be real crazy for me, so much to do...so im trying to pace myself now for all the crazinesss that is gonna happen. from this friday, there's my audit presentation, audit assignment, assignments to mark, pass meeting, dance, step up dance outing, the picnic at the botanic gardens, foo's bbq......sighhh gonna be a long week!

oh. final executive insight thing tomorrow, having the presentation of certs and prizegiving night!! hope i win something!! hahahaa

oh, exams finish on the 28th oct!! yay! early this time. but being my pessimist self....my 2 exams are on SATURDAYSS...argh...uni just cant get it right for me. but oh well...early finish...will be thankful for that...

the new ipods

u gotta check this out

there's the new family of ipods (particularly the nano and shuffle family)

and all i can say is WOW

i really want a shuffle now, more for the size

and the new nano's are really pretty (think old mini's in nano size)

but then again...its all to make people buy new models...so for those who don't have one yet.. i fully recommend an iPod =))

i usually regret buying stuff, particularly nice expensive stuff...cuz its either i dun really use it and its a waste of my money or i spoil it real fast...or i overpayed for something that i could get cheaper with the same use. But for the almost one year i had my ipod, no regrets yet. its been great during road trips, camps, for dance classes...think an enormous amount of music....u can just choose what u want...

so yeah...the only regret is that i like the smaller versions too, althou they cant do half the things my ipod can do. just that the size is awesome cuz mine's too huge esp if u wanna go for a run, or if im on the go. but really i dont new a new one cuz im contented with mine.... so happy im promoting iPods on my blog now :P

recounting my steps..

ok. i admit i have just been lazy combined with procrastination. which explains the once again lack on entries. but i really wanted to write about the past few weeks...

so...diving straight into it...

had my holidays 2 weeks ago....

did my executive insight...which i was glad i decided to join the program. had an AWESOME time at pwc. now i just really want to get a job there!!!
I learnt a whole lot too...met some interesting people, managed to visit clients sites, managed to see every SINGLE part of pwc, talked to wayy too many people to remember their names (as it is im already bad with names), learnt more about accounting procedures and what ppl actually do at a CA firm.
I got a big office for the 3 days i was there overlooking the habour and the sea. the only ironic thing is when i look out, a pretty Deloitte building is glaring right in front of me!!! on the first day I got treated a lovely lunch at Pravda too...and over the 3 days...a whole lot of cafe trips. still wayy too bad i dont drink coffee. Got lots of free stationery, got to snoop around their computer system, got to dress up in business suits for 3 whole days...
i really could get used to that kinda work =)) I also did a whole lot more which i could go on about for another few paragraphs, but i shall not bore non-accountants... =))
also finally finished my report last Friday...was a pretty decent effort i reakon, just that i hope to win something *crosses fingers*

apart from the exec. insight, i sat at home for a few days and just chilled watching a whole lot of DVDs. got this sweet-as dvd free trial thing so got 2 whole weeks of free dvds to watch....so caught up with some movies, mostly brainless chick flick movies

also went swimming at upper hutt, sat by the beach, hung out with ppl, met the three of the AOCF guys who came down from auckland, organised bowling, there was Elvin's day party, visit to chows new house (man, its so nice).. and a whole lot of other stuff which my brain is failing to remember already

i still want to go roller blading....

and im waiting for good weather to come my way, get away my white-ish looking skin...

would have probably been the best holidays if everyone wasnt so busy working, studying or whatsoever tho. but anyhow, shall not complain...cuz im usually the busy one!!

oh...did i mention, the BEST part of the holidays was...i didn't even touch a single uni book in that span of 2 weeks!!!!!hehehehehehee

hmm....havnt login-ed to blogger for ages. but, i found something new! yay!

ok...mayb they had this ages ago, but i just realised i can like link my gmail account with blogger. means less memory work for me to remember login usernames and passwords =P

so yeah, they have new features too which makes posting and the templete thing easier...but then means i have to re-do my templete again!!!! tempting...but then....i SHOULD be studying...

so no touching that till summer...*trying to recall my personal vow to not touch the templete till next year* ....

on the other hand....a lil bit of procrastination......hmmmm..
