ok. i admit i have just been lazy combined with procrastination. which explains the once again lack on entries. but i really wanted to write about the past few weeks...
so...diving straight into it...
had my holidays 2 weeks ago....
did my executive insight...which i was glad i decided to join the program. had an AWESOME time at pwc. now i just really want to get a job there!!!
I learnt a whole lot too...met some interesting people, managed to visit clients sites, managed to see every SINGLE part of pwc, talked to wayy too many people to remember their names (as it is im already bad with names), learnt more about accounting procedures and what ppl actually do at a CA firm.
I got a big office for the 3 days i was there overlooking the habour and the sea. the only ironic thing is when i look out, a pretty Deloitte building is glaring right in front of me!!! on the first day I got treated a lovely lunch at Pravda too...and over the 3 days...a whole lot of cafe trips. still wayy too bad i dont drink coffee. Got lots of free stationery, got to snoop around their computer system, got to dress up in business suits for 3 whole days...
i really could get used to that kinda work =)) I also did a whole lot more which i could go on about for another few paragraphs, but i shall not bore non-accountants... =))
also finally finished my report last Friday...was a pretty decent effort i reakon, just that i hope to win something *crosses fingers*
apart from the exec. insight, i sat at home for a few days and just chilled watching a whole lot of DVDs. got this sweet-as dvd free trial thing so got 2 whole weeks of free dvds to watch....so caught up with some movies, mostly brainless chick flick movies
also went swimming at upper hutt, sat by the beach, hung out with ppl, met the three of the AOCF guys who came down from auckland, organised bowling, there was Elvin's day party, visit to chows new house (man, its so nice).. and a whole lot of other stuff which my brain is failing to remember already
i still want to go roller blading....
and im waiting for good weather to come my way, get away my white-ish looking skin...
would have probably been the best holidays if everyone wasnt so busy working, studying or whatsoever tho. but anyhow, shall not complain...cuz im usually the busy one!!
oh...did i mention, the BEST part of the holidays was...i didn't even touch a single uni book in that span of 2 weeks!!!!!hehehehehehee
